The Problem
The client was about to sign a $4,000/month EOSCAR software subscription to process credit dispute PDFs. The team manually opened each protected, non-selectable PDF, read more than 20 structured fields from the document, and entered the information into Salesforce one case at a time. The subscription wasn’t fixing that; it was just a more expensive version of the same problem.
What I Built
Ibuilt an OCR-powered document-processing workflow that triggers the moment a protected credit dispute PDF lands in SharePoint. PDF.co OCR reads the document, extracts more than 25 fields, and passes the data through a custom parser for validation. The workflow checks for duplicates using the ACDV number, automatically creates a complete Salesforce Case, attaches the original PDF, and sends an Outlook email for human review when needed. Power Automate handles the SharePoint trigger, making the entire system event-driven with no polling delays.
The Result
They cancelled the subscription. The automation replaced it entirely; saving $2,000 on the EOSCAR sandbox onboarding API and eliminating the $4,000/month software cost. It paid for itself in month one and keeps saving $4,000 every month it runs. The compliance team stopped doing data entry.
